CIRCLE is extending the deadline to apply for CIRCLE Fiction Orbit, our training program dedicated to second or third time fiction filmmakers.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
During the workshop, a carefully selected group of filmmakers will work with leading experts to advance their projects and identify their needs based on solidarity, knowledge exchange and a hands-on mentality. Selected participants will receive feedback on their script, legal aspects and production options, including the best strategic choices and psychological support during their creative process.
We are looking for 10 women and gender-expansive (second or third-time) directors and producers with strong feature-film projects in development to apply for this initiative. The workshop will take place November 24-30 in Herceg Novi, Montenegro.
Directors can participate alone or together with the producer. Only projects with a producer attached are eligible. Both director and producer should have at least one feature film done.

FEE AND SCHOLARSHIP: The participation fee (1700€ per person) covers mentorship, accommodation and meals, as well as a variety of offers by our partners.
CIRCLE may allocate one scholarship (covering 50% of the tuition fee) for participants from low capacity countries in need.

ABOUT CIRCLE: CIRCLE is a unique international training programme and safe space for women and gender expansive filmmakers working both in documentary and fiction. Our flagship programme is Women Doc Accelerator, a year-round training initiative, open to documentary projects and professionals in all stages. In 2023 we launched Fiction Orbit, an intensive residential workshop dedicated to mid-career filmmakers developing scripted projects.
