CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator is looking for up to 12 women filmmakers (directors or producers) with a strong creative documentary project in any stage of production (from development to rough cut) who are seeking further support to upgrade their professional skills, develop their films with leading experts and bring them to the wider professional audience.
The program of CIRCLE 2021 features 3 tailor made sessions in 3 different countries*, focusing on different aspects of project development:
MODULE 01: 2-6 June 2021 (TBC), Montenegro
In-depth analysis of projects and creative development
MODULE 02: 22-26 September 2021 (TBC), Croatia
Creative development and project packaging
MODULE 03: January 2022 (dates TBA), Italy
Networking in the When East Meets West / Trieste Film Festival
*Please note that due to the COVID-19 restrictions, CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator 2021 may decide to adapt its program. The dates of the workshop might change and it could be partially or completely held online, during the announced time period (June 2021 - January 2022). Selected participants will be additionally informed about the program details.

We guarantee to keep the material you send to us strictly confidential and share it only with our selection committee for the selection purposes.

Participation fee is 3000€, it covers the pedagogical fee, accommodation and meals for all three modules. CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator may allocate up to two scholarships for participants in need.

CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator is a three module training program addressing female-identifying directors and producers who are developing their documentary projects of international potential in any stage of production and are seeking support to develop their films and further their professional skills.
For those selected to participate, the year-round program offers a chance to work with leading experts and successful professionals - in order to improve their professional skills, analyze in depth their projects, dramaturgical challenges, production strategies, packaging and presenting the project to a wider audience, but also developing sustainable business models and connect to the global professional community.
